Go! Saint Charles, Missouri
Go! points out five key places to visit when traveling to select cities. This time the focus is on Saint Charles, MO
Pizza :: Talaynas
Whether you favor Saint Louis, New York, Boston or Chicago style pizza they've got it all here. The decor may not be anything to write home about, but the pizza is worth the trip.
Art :: Foundary Art Center
Wonderful gallery spaces on the main floor. Upstairs there are artists in residence. Also be sure to visit the many galleries of local artistst on the North end of Main Street.
Coffee :: Picasso's
Great coffee's brewed or poured to order. The Zebra is a great specialty drink. The Quad-shot Latte is a perfect mix of milk and coffee. And if you're split between beer and coffee both are on hand.
Retail :: Figueros
While the front and back are loaded with coffee and tea; somewhere in the middle you'll find some of the largest collections of hot sauces from around the world. Worth the stop.
Church :: Refuge
If you're in town for a weekend and need a place to worship Refuge, an Acts 29 church, is worth attending. Trey Herwick is the pastor. The church meets at the St. Charles Memorial Hall in Blanchette Park and offers learning activities for your children while service is going on.
