The Menu of the Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian

When you tell people you're a vegetarian (albeit lacto-ovo) they ten to wonder what exactly you eat during the week.

Here are some items you might find on the menu at our house:

PIZZA
Frozen Cheese Pizza (Tombstone)

RAMEN
Ramen (Mushroom Flavored)

BURRITOS
Flour Tortillas, Lard-Free Refried Beans, Bag of Shredded Cheese

HAMBURGERS
Wheat Hamburger Buns, Morning Star Grillers, Tomato, Lettuce, Soy Cheese (or Sliced Cheddar)

DELI SANDWICHES
Bread, Tofurkey Slices, Swiss Cheese, Mayo

OMELETS
(Hormone Free) Eggs, Mushrooms, Bag of Shredded Cheese, Wheat Toas

BREAKFAST CEREAL
(Hormone Free) Milk, Cereal

YOGURT & FRUIT
(Hormone Free) Yogurt, Fresh Blueberries

TACOS
Taco Shells, Taco Seasoning (Meat Free), Morningstar Crumbles, Lettuce, Tomatos

HOT DOGS
Wheat Hot Dog Buns, Smart Dogs, Catsup (or Ketchup), Mustard, Relish (Optional)

HUEVOS RANCHEROS
Soy-Rizzo, Hormone Free Eggs, Flour Tortillas, Fat Free Beans, Green/Red Picante, (Hormone Free) Sour Cream

I guess we eat like everyone else. Just lots of soy-based substitutions.
